The ServSafe Food Handler Exam is an untimed 40 question test. The course takes approximately 60 to 90 munutes. Some food service employees may be asked to take an optional job specific section as directed by their manager. The training covers all areas of food safety, including: basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross-contamination and allergens, time and temperature, and cleaning and sanitation. The ServSafe Food Handler program is designed to teach food safety to non-management food service employees.
